History Wardrobe

Delightful costume–in–context presentations

Welcome to the new History Wardrobe website!

Browse through our enticing selection of presentations... see where we're performing in the events diary, find out more about us, complete our costume survey in my life in clothes and, of course - contact us.

The History Wardrobe talks were created to teach history through fashion - and we love our job! We travel all over the UK and are happy to perform in all indoor venues, from village halls to stately homes.

We have excellent reviews from museums, historical societies, luncheon clubs, NADFAS, WI groups and many illustrious venues such as Osborne House, Castle Howard, Cheltenham Literature Festival, Stourhead House and Bath Theatre Royal.

We're commemorating Titanic's maiden voyage with the superb presentation - Titanic, as well as launching two lovely new talks - Agatha Christie & Art Deco and Jane Austen's 'Ladies of a Certain Age'.
