Gillian: I first went into business making wedding dresses. Fitting a bride out for her big day is a real honour.

I'll be making a very sumptuous Victorian wedding ensemble for Lucy to wear. It will be a very striking contrast with the simpler lines of the Regency pelisse robe... and a world apart from the super chic 1960s dress Lucy will change into... an outfit I'm sure will bring back a lot of memories for people!

Lucy: Always a bride, never a bridesmaid, that's my motto. Donning a wedding veil is always a magic moment.

I actually used to wear my mother's wedding dress from 1969 - she had it shortened into a fab mini. We've been very lucky with this talk - lots of lovely ladies have donated their gowns, along with some great stories. The only problem now is how we're going to find room to display them all... Look out for the black wedding dress, by the way.
