About Us
| Lucy Adlington took an English degree from Cambridge University and an MA in Medieval Studies from the University of York. She co-founded Century Adventures History Group in 1997, a company specialising in historical presentations for schools, museums and heritage sites. She collects 19th- and 20th-century costume. | Gillian Stapleton studied English with History at Ripon & York St John (University of Leeds). She is an experienced costume historian who has been studying and re-creating replica items for over twenty years, working closely with local museums. | ||||||

| She started sewing when she was five years old - taught by her mother. She has visited most of the major costume collections in the country and researches extensively. She makes all the exquisite items used for the History Wardrobe presentations and has a select collection of period items and fashion plates. Her favourite period is the Regency... she knows an amazing amount about Mr Darcy's underwear...! |

Oliver Ashworth is a charming & accomplished actor, with 13 years ballet training and a lovely tenor voice.
He's a keen sportsman, plays the piano & the flute, and somehow excels on the unicycle. He also make a very fine Regency gentleman! |
